At Savemart I have learnt to work in all areas including sorting, pricing, counter and general shop responsibilities.

My main positions have been sorting, counter and shop.

The shop responsibilities involve handling transactions, interacting with customer's and maintain a clean and tidy shop.

Sorting involves receiving the donated items and sorting through them in a quick and efficient fashion into various different areas.

Pricing requires me to know the brands and be able to judge a fair price depending on brand and quality.

I have also been health and safety manager at Savemart for the past 3 years, passing a H&S coarse to be able to do this.

In this role I asses any dangers to staff or customer's and take my concerns to my senior whom I then help to work out how to reduce or eliminate this risk before putting these finding into practice with other staff members .

I worked the front counter dealing with customer's af all age's. I handled money and packed orders.
