I grew up in Wellington but have always had a passion for animals and agriculture, hence my decision to move and study at Lincoln. I am hard working and love learning new skills especially in the agricultural field as I am passionate about the industry. This summer I have loved working on a dairy farm and would like to continue doing so whilst working around my studies back at Lincoln. I am willing to be flexible and help out the team when needed and will always show up on time.

- This farm milks 800 cows across a 50 bale rotary which I have learnt to set up, milk, and wash up.
- I bring in stock for milking, ensuring paddocks are set up correctly.
- Identify lame cows, treating them and separating them from the herd.
- Operating a tractor including moving bales, mowing grass and power harrowing.
- Fixing drainage pipes.
- Putting up tape fences, break fences and am currently learning proper wire fencing.
- Stock work in yards including weighing, drafting, drenching and vaccinating.
