Through time working and studying I've developed a wide range of practical and theoretical skills that has helped to not only do work well, but to actually enjoy the process and feeling fulfilled with the accomplishment of achieving or developing something new.
Throughout set up of the festival I would go around, laying out fence support blocks, set up fences by bolting them together. Unravelling & tying scrim to fences. In total we set up 4km of fences.
During the Festival we'd go and fix any damage to anything we could fix. As well as help set up stores, stages, mosh pits, VIP areas and talent areas. Also stayed up until 5am moving fences for busses the next morning.
During pack down we got through the fences pretty quickly so I helped out with everything after that.
Prepared food items, sorted and moved stock, cleaned throughout the store, helped customers in the dining area.

I'd meet voters at the door, ask if they needed to register to vote, and if they were a special or a Māori vote. Then direct them to the correct tables.
After doors shut, I helped count votes multiple times over before packaging them away to ship.
