  • Teach and meet the requirements of NZQA in the level 3 and 4 qualification of Health and Wellbeing
  • These qualifications are aimed and taught to Youth Guarantee students aged 16-19 years (with the exception of adult learners on request)
  • The content for these qualifications includes teaching, assessing and marking unit standards and modules which is taught over a period of 22 weeks as well as placement of students into health, disability and aged support settings which entails students being partnered with experienced healthcare assistants for 3 weeks to observe and assist where need (practicum experience)
  • Moderation of unit standards is also mandatory in my role and takes place twice over the 22 week period.
