  • I play a key role in gathering stakeholder requirements and documenting them as process maps and use cases.
  • I play a key role in Wellington Free Ambulance in establishing service management for the Public Safety Network Project using an ITIL approach to incident management, change enablement and service request. This heavily involves considering how WFA's business-as-usual teams with interact with the service provider and integrations needed in the data centre environment.

  • I play a key role in assisting the Change Manager in gap analysis in transitioning from the legacy to new systems and processes.

Strong Desire to Coach and mentor others:

  • In my role as an Intelligence Analyst and Acting Supervisor, I mentored team members by 1-on-1 training sessions, NZ Diploma course work and challenging their thought process on intelligence products.
  • Whilst in the Army, I had a junior leadership role in coaching and mentoring my section and delegating admin tasks.

Growth Mindset:

  • I continuously look for professional development opportunities. For example, I completed the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis last year and applied the methodologies in my work.
  • I follow the organisation's professional development framework and positively engage with my line manager to recogise my strengths and identify areas of improvement. In Police, this is known as the 'High Performance Framework'; at WFA, this is 'Performance Framework'.
  • I positively engage with my colleagues in product reviews and team meetings to identify learnings from their areas of work. For example, I regularly engage with our Project Architect in understanding the end-to-end system of the radio network which has led to me networking and contributing in the wider project technical team.
