I am a dependable, reliable, hard working, friendly, and enthusiastic employee who has worked as a cafe, restaurant, and retail worker. I have a lot of experience in working in a cafe/restaurant food environments, as well as experience as a sales assistant. I am currently a high school student at Takapuna Grammar willing to work weekends and/or before and after school hours. In a work environment I commit 100% effort and performance to ensure I am pleasing customers, managers, and coworkers. I ensure to have an enthusiastic, helpful, and efficient approach to all tasks and jobs. I feel very strongly about committing to a job in which I will do any tasks that are required for maintaining a happy, safe, and prime environment for all customers and co-workers.
At Botticelli I worked as a waitress who strived to put in maximum effort and always keep busy. There I learned memorizing, socializing, and advanced waitressing skills that can be used in many work environments. My main priority as a waitress was to complete all tasks to the highest quality, keeping all customers satisfied, and to ensure not only customers but the environment was kept beyond satisfactory. I participated in all areas and tasks of waitressing such as accepting payments, greeting customers, taking and processing orders, kitchen and bar assistance, cleaning and resetting tables, and adapted to a busy environment.
I've previously worked as a waitress at a local cafe in Takapuna. Here I gained experience and knowledge with POS systems, food safety and preparation, food hygiene practices, food and customer service expertise, amongst a vast range of other professional and communicational skills. I developed and expanded familiarity with customer service, kitchen/food preparation operations, and contributing to a positive team environment in the workplace.
At my time as a Sales Assistant at Flo + Frankie, I was overwhelmed with an abundance of valuable retail and customer service skills that I believe will serve as assets to my future positions. In this position I became familiar with helping customers locate products and checking store system for merchandise at other sites, assisting customers with prompt and polite support in-person and via telephone, remained calm and poised in high-stress, dynamic environment to promote service to customers and staff, establishing rapport with customers using active listening and interpersonal skills, assisting customers with product reccomendation and sizing assistance, and persuasive selling to upsell and accuratrly meet customers needs and desires. I developed a range of retail skills involving stock, marketing, product knowledge and tracking, building customer loyalty, online orders and POS sytems, and providing esceptional services and pleasant shopping ecperiences to all customers.
