  • Lead S&C program for academy athletes through pre/in/post-season performance training
  • Enhanced athlete performance by implementing innovative and interactive training methods tailored to individual/ positional specific needs.
  • Monitor and test athlete performance using sport technology equipment (ForceDecks, GymAware & SmartSpeed gates)
  • Design and coach periodised programs to assist and improve their performance capabilities - Focusing on Strength, Power, Speed, Agility, Change of Direction, and Injury prevention
  • Communicate and work alongside the medical team for return-to-play athletes and nutritionist to guide athletes where necessary
  • Ensure training (gym & field) is planned, organised and executed on time
  • Monitor athletes through various training blocks and testing protocols, whilst maintaining up-to-date data on New Zealand rugby athletes data base with full testing battery results

  • Monitor GPS (STATSports) during games to provide coaches and athletes with game load data. (as part of my Masters)

  • Prescribe off-feet conditioning for athletes who are unable to take part in areas of training/ Return-to-play. As well as game replacements for non-playing members

I am excited to apply for the Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach position at Hong Kong China Rugby. With experience in preparing athletes to shine at the higher levels, I have honed the skills necessary to help rugby players reach their potential. My collaborative approach, combined with a deep understanding of strength and conditioning principles and rugby, this allows me to design training programs that improve both individual performance and overall team outcomes.


Born in England, raised in Singapore, and having lived in New Zealand, I have a diverse and multicultural perspective that enables me to connect with athletes from various backgrounds, enhancing their development and performance. 

I am fully prepared to relocate to Hong Kong if successful in this role. The relocation date to be discussed.


Current Annual Salary: NZD $55,000 (pro-rated)

Expected Monthly Salary: HKD $35000 negotiable
