Hey there, my name is Sean Chia, and I am a second-year student at Victoria University of Wellington studying Electrical Engineering. I'm reaching out to express my keen interest in joining Transpower this summer to further my interest and enhance my knowledge and skills in the Electrical Engineering Field. I have a great passion for the field of Renewable Energy. It would be an excellent opportunity for me to be a part of Transpower to contribute to helping lower carbon emissions and air pollution while at the same time gaining experience on what a daily basis of an Electrical Engineer seems like. I strongly believe that the evolution of renewable energy is a crucial part of New Zealand to have a sustainable future. Furthermore, I am devoted to being a part of a group that shares the same vision as I do.
I'm a very active, sporty, and easy-going person, I like to solve problems and challenging questions. I'm a fan of badminton, and also a member of the Tawa Badminton Club. Throughout a busy week of Uni schedules and a part-time job, I would always love to spend time walking my dog, spending time with him, and at least once a week of trekking or hiking along with him.
