  • As a Network Rigger for Entelar Iam responsible for all aspects of the build, upgrade and installation process for a cellular tower, as well as commissioning of the telecommunications network and related components. Further you will undertake a range of tasks relating to the construction and maintenance of cellular towers, associated equipment and in support of other Entelar Group projects.
  • Technical: Installs, maintains, repairs, removes, or retrofits antenna systems equipment (e.g. antennas, microwave dishes, feeders etc.) Inspects remote communications sites to assess and/or schedule preventative maintenance of antenna systems and tower conditions using a 4WD drive vehicle and hand tools. Reads, reviews, and updates tower documentation files to gain information and develop a knowledge base of antenna/tower systems using various manuals and written procedures. Interprets various documents (e.g. diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.) to ensure proper installation of antenna systems using technical expertise and knowledge. Make preliminary line-of-site surveys from communication towers using climbing and safety gear (e.g. Harness, hard hat, steel-toed boots, etc.)
  • Plant: Ensuring that the plant and equipment to be used is in good repair, suitable to task, and used safely and correctly, ensuring all test equipment remains within calibration. Carrying out the daily and weekly inspection of the assigned plant and the required daily user maintenance of the plant and such other services as required. Adhering to the Entelar Group vehicle policy. Undertaking the safe operation of assigned plant within the limits of the manufacture’s specifications and safely and efficiently utilising small plant.
  • Reporting: Ensuring any item of maintenance requiring attention is reported and completing reports, such as incident, plant, vehicle and H&S, in line with company policy and procedures.
