I am a medical professional with a medical degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Over the past nine years, I have served as a Resident Medical Officer, primarily in the Auckland region, gaining clinical experience. I am currently a gastroenterology registrar in Auckland, nearing completion of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Advanced Training programme in Gastroenterology in mid 2026. With a strong interest in therapeutic endoscopies, I am eager to further develop my skills through the endoscopy fellowship at Austin Health in 2027. I anticipate fulfilling the New Zealand Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (NZCCRTGE) requirements for independent endoscopic practice upon completion of my training. I am fortunate to have a supportive wife and a young daughter, and we are enthusiastic about the prospect of relocating to Melbourne for this opportunity.
