I have lived in New Zealand for almost eight years and currently hold a permanent resident visa. I am a patient, responsible, and detail-oriented individual with a strong team-oriented mindset and a flexible approach to work.
After graduating in New Zealand, I worked in a bakery for two years and am currently employed at a plastic products company. In both roles, I started with no prior experience and quickly developed the skills required to deliver accurate and efficient work.
I enjoy taking on new challenges and am eager to explore different types of work while building connections with a diverse range of people. I believe this approach has helped me successfully integrate into life and work in New Zealand.
I have been working at FLEXICON for over two and a half years, with primary responsibility for quality inspection. I conduct hourly in-factory inspections, including monitoring bottle production quality and print accuracy to ensure standards are consistently met.
In addition to quality control, I manage a range of administrative tasks, including processing customer orders, entering data into the system, coordinating production schedules, and organising shipments. My role is currently split evenly between office administration and on-site quality inspection.
Since joining the company, I have contributed to significantly improving product quality standards, with almost no customer complaints reported. I also assist with shipping and receiving operations and maintain regular communication with technical staff to support smooth and efficient production.
Assisted customers by taking orders and operating the cash register. Supported the team by serving food and packing orders. Advanced to a baker role, preparing desserts, sandwiches, cakes, and bread. Promoted to Duty Manager, overseeing bakery operations.
Communicated with suppliers to purchase ingredients. Coordinated daily production plans with the baking team. Handled customer orders and pickups. Supervised daily food production and sales. Checked ingredient quality and balanced daily sales at closing time.
The job was demanding, as I worked full-time and it involved physical work. However, each day was busy and rewarding. I learned a variety of dessert-making techniques and gained valuable hands-on experience. Over those two years, I met people from diverse countries and backgrounds. Many customers were warm and friendly—some came to enjoy a dessert and have a chat, and over time, we formed genuine friendships.
