I am a highly skilled, enthusiastic, qualified civil engineer with a passion for seeing major construction projects through from start to finish. I bring 'to the table' 15+ years of valuable experience working for both consultants and contractors on large scale major civil infrastructure projects which includes 3 of the 4 'Major Roads of National Significance' in Christchurch. Not scared to get my hands dirty, jump on the tools, drive a truck, talk stakeholders around to buy into any goal and most importantly do carry this out always with a positive attitude! Core strengths in subcontractor management, programming, quality assurance and maintaining relationships with clients/designers ensures a quality project delivered on time. I thrive working in a team environment, whilst also working efficiently on my own and am keen to develop and excel while giving my best to an employer.

Hobbies and Interests
I left New Zealand back in 94 as a teenager to play rugby at a semi-professional level in Gloucester England but also to travel the world to experience different cultures and to see what opportunities arise when out there. In that time I've worked in the United States on a camp as a life guard to working in one of the grandest hotels in the world at the Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London. To achieve this required a laid-back approach to life but with a willingness to learn and succeed in whatever I put my mind to. I enjoy an extremely active lifestyle, sport being my main interests. Whilst playing semi-professional rugby I Captained my local team to its first ever promotion in the Gloucestershire Premier League and enjoyed my time at the helm for over 13 years. I currently play for Mighty Belfast Muncher's who have enjoyed success at the top of the league for last 5 years running and still going strong
