My role as a kitchen assistant at the Hawke's Bay District Health Board required me to work in a team environment in order to ensure that patients get the correct meal at dinnertime and that the dishes are cleaned sufficiently for their next use. I was also required to interact with nurses, doctors and orderlies

in case of a special request for a patient or for a ward. As well as working in the hospital cafe when short-staffed. I left this position as I was moving up to Auckland to pursue my goals to attend University.

PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT

As well as doing tasks in my designated zone and offering help to customers and co-workers whenever I could. I was able to process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customers a smooth checkout experience, which involved handling cash and card payments with care. I collaborated with team members at Glassons to meet daily sales targets and ensure customers received timely assistance. By working together, we maintained a positive and efficient shopping environment.
