• Familiar with Te Whāriki 2017, which I use daily in my curriculum design as Tamariki, recognise and respond to Ngā Tamariki play. I have been carrying out individual plans for tamariki for 18 years using Te Whariki as a guide and have in depth Whāriki and understanding.
• I use Te Reo in my daily practices and uphold tikanga Ngā.
• I am competent using microsoft office as all my centres have used this software.

I am passionate about children's learning and supporting them through anything that arises. I believe that strong relationships with whanau help to foster children's learning. I am committed to using Te Reo in my daily practice and value te tikanga maori.

With 20 years experience, I am very familiar with Te Whariki the early childhood curriculum and confident to deliver individual programs and implement teaching approaches.

With my experience working in a team, I am tolerant of other perspectives and able to deal with a wide variety of people. This has taught me to give and receive instructions well through critical thinking and excellent interpersonal skills resulting in solution focused outcomes.

As a dedicated and self motivated cyclist/runner I am physically fit and able to carry out my role as a teacher and actively participate in the daily program. My strength and fitness rolemodels high energy levels,promoting the tamariki's health and well being.

I have excellent time management skills and am always punctual proving my dedication to my work ethics.

• 2020 - Learning language and loving it - Ministry of Education I am now able to support children with speech and language difficulties. I shared this information with my team so we can work together with the children struggling with communication.
