Summary

Joined the military in 2012 after working part-time for a year following my last year of high school. I have since picked up a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience, learning the ways of a sailor and my chosen profession within the service. I have enjoyed the relationships built and the many countries I have been fortunate to visit but have come to a point in my life where I desire a change in my career and no longer wish to travel away from my daughter. Since my Maori studies in 2020, I have yearned to return and continue up to a teaching level. I have completed a few leadership/instructor courses during my time in the Navy that have sparked my passion for teaching. I believe my next chosen path and career will be in the Teaching Organisation, in the Maori realm. I am keen and excited to begin my new journey combining 2 of my passions and being present alongside my family.
