Responsibilities include:

• Managing assigned projects related to auditing and assurance standards including preparation of issues papers for consideration by the New Zealand Auditing and Assurance Standards Board;
• Development of auditing and assurance standards documents including consultation papers, exposure drafts and standards;
• Preparation of submissions to international auditing and assurance and ethics standard setting bodies on exposure drafts;
• Providing support on assigned projects to the NZ member on the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board through the Audit Reference Group.

Part time role providing technical support to Deloitte US's national technical team:

• Comparison and reconciliation of requirements in PCAOB auditing standards with International auditing standards to identify differences to international audit methodology.
• Updating audit methodology for changes to auditing standards

Responsibilities included:

• Managed the AICPA's Auditing Standards Board and International Auditing Standards Subcommittee through secretariat support.
• Managed assigned projects related to auditing and assurance standards including preparation of issues papers for consideration by the Auditing Standards Board;
• Development of auditing and assurance standards documents including consultation papers, exposure drafts and standards;
• Technical advisor to the US member on the IAASB 2006-2008. Observer of the IAASB 2004-2006.
• Preparation of submissions on international exposure drafts.

Audit manager roles in both USA and New Zealand:

• Managed a team of auditors, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit projects.
• Maintained up-to-date knowledge on accounting standards and best practices to ensure high-quality audit results were delivered consistently.
• Worked on a variety of clients from large SEC registered companies to small not for profit entities
