Teachingphilosophy

My teaching philosophy is: “To use students centered learning approaches where students learn through fun, doing activities, active participation, and a spirit of cooperation and collaboration in the peer group or teamwork to make them autonomous with full sense of pride and confidence.” My teaching practices enables students to realize their full potential by providing opportunities, support, feedback, and guidance to achieve the learning outcomes. I plan various activities based on a given curriculum, students’ learning styles and real-life situations with an aim for the students to engage, practice and construct products to display and reflect on progress and desired results. This enables me to broaden cognitive skills and think critically and apply it in real-life situations to tackle problems creatively. I aim to make the classroom an arena for students to learn, develop and demonstrate productive and the receptive skills. I believe that teaching is not only about one individual student, but about the hopes, expectations, and aspirations of many students. When the institution exists to impose faith and empower its teachers with autonomy, good curriculum, evaluation standards, and encouraging environment to teach rather than putting obstacles in their path, progress is possible. As the true impact of this new curriculum begins to show, a virtuous cycle is kicking in helping, encouraging and motivating students attain and enhance communicative skills, in turn, enabling more changes ahead. My teaching philosophy is crystal clear in my mind: putting my students first. I’m always committed to impart quality education and stand to respect their values and empathetic to stand by and to solve their academic problems. When my intent to teach is positive and vision is futuristic, undertaking the impossible task becomes possible. That’s how I encourage, motivate and teach my students to obtain desirable results as learning outcomes. As always keeping students my priority and supreme, I get a holistic view on key teaching-learning issues from the talented, genius and techno-savvy minds. I believe that significant learning is achieved by significant relationships.
