I successfully gained a fixed term, full time position as a youth worker contracted to the Ministry Of Social Development

My duties included assisting beneficiaries aged 16 – 19

Making sure they’re receiving all entitlements plus

• Housing and education support
• Supporting through parenting, budgeting and tenancy programs
• Support reaching education and work goals
• Facilitate workshops that promote our youth to

-Obtain their license

-Teach positive communication

-Promote conflict resolution and self determination

• Provide transport to meetings from doctors appointments to permanent housing and job interviews

• I was employed on a temp 6 month contract
• Was asked to stay on full time but had prior academic pursuit commitments
• As a key member of the stock and services team, my duties would include
• Accurate stock distribution
• Ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
• Adhering to safety protocols
• Being punctual
• Signage requirements
• Be fast moving and accurate
• My primary responsibilities were limited due to not being placed on services roster frequently
• The role mostly consists of working alone however, to support my team I still maintained effective communication, punctuality and reliability

I was employed full time with Monadelphous initially completing maintenance roles that required me to travel to various locations in NSW. Within 3 weeks I was offered a full time position working as a contractor for BHP Mt Arthur. I was responsible for

- Completing safety cards

- Parking area management

- Landscape maintenance

- Supervising 10 hour operations on foot

After 7 days I was offered a full time rostered position onsite

Meaning I would work a 5/4, 12 Hour roster. My duties included.

• Replenished and managed inventory
• Performed Light vehicle maintenance
• Tyre Fitting
• Assisting with Vehicle Breakdowns

Working in this role not only enhanced my technical skills but solidified my commitment to safety and operational efficiency in a demanding work environment.

As a dedicated office secretary I provided vital support to a cardiology clinic. Facilitating seamless operations across multiple locations my key responsibilities included

• Answered multi-line phone system and enthusiastically greeted callers.
• Handled sensitive information discreetly, maintaining confidentiality when managing personnel files or financial data.
• Maintained daily report documents, memos and invoices.
• Scheduled appointments and conducted follow-up calls to clients.
• Responded to emails and other correspondence to facilitate communication and enhance business processes.

Building on my own experience, I successfully transitioned to Nurse Assistant where I was then also responsible for

• Stress Test Preparation
• Holter Monitor Placement
• ECG Testing
• Checked patient vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.
• Monitored vital signs for early detection of potential health issues, enabling timely intervention from medical staff.

This job not only refined my interpersonal skills through interaction with diverse patients but honed my ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, allowing me to be professional in even the most demanding situations
