Summary Or Career Goal
I have 20 years of teaching experience from year 1 to year 8 levels from schools of different religious backgrounds. Currently I am a qualified teacher at an early childhood centre named Kids Count Kelvin Road from August 2023. I am a hardworking, honest and dedicated teacher and have the potential to work independently. I have good leadership skills and keep guiding peers throughout my teaching endeavours. I keep myself updated on technologies, latest webinars through ecelu and use my skills in the best possible way for achieving the Ministry of Education’s mission and vision. I also attended a day’s workshop on Autism by Tony Attwood in early this year to better understand and work in the best possible way for our autistic tamariki. I utilise my professional leadership skills in improving educational services for the better delivery of quality education to students to achieve their full potential. I also sat for Pearson PTE Academic and achieved an overall score of 81/90. Currently aiming for completing my professional growth cycle and getting to know the te whariki and New Zealand curriculum in order to utilise my talents, knowledge and skills to uplift the teacher and student relationships and performance and strive positively towards celebrating diversity and achievement of New Zealand education.
