- Supporting my Centre Manager in the day to day running of the Centre by:

1.Overseeing the implementation of curriculum as per Ministry and Centre guidelines and regulations, ensuring that best practice including bicultural practice is part of everyday curriculum in the classrooms

2. Mentoring and coaching teachers and supporting them with their teacher registration.

3. Partnering with whanau to provide the best care and education to children with diverse needs. Whanaungatanga is the heart of everything I do here at my Centre.

3. Overseeing the health and safety compliance for the Centre.

Developed and implemented lesson plans based on curriculum expectations and the individual child's needs, interests and strengths. Assessed children's progress through observations and documentations using learning stories. Worked in partnership with parents, teachers and management to provide the optimum learning environments for the children.

• Assessed student performance regularly through formative assessments, adjusting instruction as needed for optimal learning outcomes.
• Enhanced student engagement with interactive lesson plans and multimedia presentations.
• Collaborated with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons, fostering a deeper understanding of how technology connects to other subject areas.

• Acted as the Head of Department and the Teacher-in-Charge during my five years of being a Food Technology and the Home Economics Teacher in Fiji
• Conducted Department meetings with other teachers.
• Communicated effectively with community, families and

students to promote academic achievement and accomplish curriculum mission.

• Worked in collaboration with other teachers in the department to deliver the best possible curriculum for children.
• Employed variety of teaching strategies and instructional techniques to meet different aptitudes and interests of students.
