My role involves caring for women and/ or new born babies on the Postnatal Ward, specific to the patients needs. i am responsible for administering medications, and assisting in providing daily care tasks such as changes of dressings, breastfeeding support and general education of how to care for a new born. I am also responsible for recognizing the need for implementation of other services such as physic, social work , doctors and lactation consultants.

My role involves caring for young adolescent patients in a variety of settings, specific to the patient needs. I am responsible for administering medications, and assisting in completing holistic psychosocial and basic health assessments

• Planning and implementing specific nursing cares
• Nurse led clinic in Alternative Education Centre
• Present and promote current health concerns in our community
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team

My role involved caring for paediatric patients on the Surgical Ward, specific to the patients needs. I was responsible for administering medications, and assisting in providing daily care tasks such as bed washes, changes of dressings, naso-gastric feeds or medication administration

My role as a Health Care Assistant involved assisting the clients to complete activities of daily living such as bathing, showering, getting dressed, feeding, and mobilization, along side completing general house keeping tasks and assisting with pressure area risk management

My role as a youth cadet was learning first aid skills such as CPR, how to care for fractures, bleeding injuries, broken bones, choking and mass casualty incidents. I was involved in competing around New Zealand up until the age of 17, where i received many medals.

My role as a leader involved teaching first aid skills, communication skills and other relevant skills according to the programme, to youth members aged 5-18 years old
