Passionate and empathetic counselling student seeking a Year 2 placement opportunity within an organisation where I can apply and develop hands-on experience and grow my counselling skills. I strive to use my counselling knowledge to care for the health and wellbeing of people in the community. I have a genuine desire to help, connect and care for people. I have the ability to make connections throughout all ages by building trust and authentic connections. I am compassionate and genuinely present when engaging with people to help with their mental health and wellbeing. I am a mother of two older boys, and I have a broad outlook and open mind when receiving and engaging in a client's personal narrative. I believe my lived experiences are a valuable part of who I am and add strength to my role as a student counsellor. I am eager to learn from experienced professionals and contribute positively to the well-being of clients at your organisation/institute.
