Work History

Bachelor of Dance

Student
Auckland University, Auckland
02.2023 - 01.2025
  • I hold a degree in Dance from the University of Auckland, where I focused on contemporary dance practices and teaching over the past years. This experience has not only strengthened my creative and collaborative skills, but has also taught me the importance of discipline, adaptability, and communication—qualities that I believe are essential in any professional environment.

2022

Every end of semester 2, my degree has a set time to perform a choreographed dance piece as an assessment for our family and friends. In my first year taking Dance Studies as a degree, I performed in the Auckland University first-year show for Dance Studies at the Kenneth Myers Centre building at the end of the year in 2021.

2023

In my second year of dance studies, I performed a second-year dance piece in front of my family and friends at the Mangere Arts Centre. At the end of the year following the beginning of next year, 2024, I had the opportunity to teach and perform for younger students in China. I explored Beijing, Suzhou, and Shanghai to teach at different Delwich schools for two weeks. In total, I taught and performed in five different schools for two weeks, which was an amazing experience.
