• Drop fibre pulling, splicing, Installation and maintenance of fibre connections
• Handling splicing machine (Fujikura) and periodically check for maintenance free includes dust check, elctrode replacement, arc caliberation and motor caliberation
• Keep track of the signal strength of different devices including high speed internet
• Preparing and maintaining system records, diagrams relating to the splice case and helical factor
• Performing premises cabling and running fibre optic cables underground and underwater
• Measuring the signal strength of internet connections to ensure that there is adequate performance
• Installation, troubleshooting and maintaining all fibre optic systems and ensure that they are working properly
• Responsible for taking approvals from clients and consultants required for projects
• Point to point installation from outside to inside home
• Receive and organize work orders and assignments daily.
• Reviewed, completed and signed customers work order, requests and ensures paper work is properly and accurately completed.
• Optical Fiber Cable pulling, installation, termination of Patch Panels, Splicing, testing, trouble shooting (using through OTDR & VFL ..... etc.)
