I am an ambitious individual who is always willing to learn and indulge myself into new challenging environments. I strive to put my best foot forward at any given opportunity and pursue excellence in all facets of life.
I am currently in my fourth year studying at the University of Waikato, studying a Bachelor of Laws. Pursuing an intense degree has meant I have had to nail the skill of time management. This has ensured I can still deliver to a high standard academically, while ensuring other areas of my life are balanced and fulfilled.
While being a passionate undergraduate I am also invested in a range of sporting codes. In the summer I am busy with Touch Rugby and then occupied with netball in the winter. However, for many years I was also heavily involved with waka ama, and surf lifesaving. My sporting involvements have given me a strong sense of working co-operatively within a team environment as well as knowing when to provide leadership which I have learnt from Captaining many of my teams. Sports has also instilled a great work ethic within myself alongside resilience from the competitive nature of games and trainings.
I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. I hold the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. I have learnt to be quick on my feet and soak new learnings up like a sponge. The ability to communicate effectively, being reliable and flexible has also helped me overcome the challenges I have faced.
