  • Recruited Verity Hogan into team administrator role and acted as her manager at Bruce Northey's request
  • Ran the day to day delegation of work and mentoring responsibilities of Hayley Botha
  • Run the day to day delegation of work and mentoring/development responsibilities of Kellie Newman. Arranged her maternity leave, her recent pay increase and reclassification.
  • Acted as Hayley and Kellie's key contact person for any questions and concerns

  • Prosecuted serious indictable crime in the District and High Courts at Auckland as sole and lead counsel, including murder trials, trials for serious sexual and other violent offences, kidnapping, drug manufacture, importation, sale and supply, offending against the Resource Management Act and criminal neglect. The majority of the trials involved multiple defendants and multiple charges.
  • Prosecuted numerous pre-trial hearings, bail hearings, sentencings, appeals, criminal trial callovers and extended supervision orders in the High and District Courts as sole and lead counsel.
  • Drafting all forms of documentation relevant to the criminal trial jurisdiction and the summary jurisdiction in relation to prosecutions for the Ministry of Health, Commerce Commission, Ministry of Fisheries, Department of Internal Affairs and for regional authorities such as the Auckland City Council and Waitakere District Council.

  • Mentoring juniors in criminal matters.
