The primary purpose of my role is to provide high quality financial insight, analysis, and recommendations to the T&G Global Apples Orcharding business and to enable them to fully understand and evaluate financial trends and forecasts.

I am also responsible for

• supporting the creation of an annual operating plan,
• reporting on this plan using key KPI metrics and
• assisting the business through financial and commercial insight to meet their financial plan while identifying business risks and opportunities.

• Preparation of Napier Port's external financial reporting in accordance with NZ IFRS and NZX requirements
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders
• Partner with the Management Accountant and wider Finance Team to ensure timely and insightful management reporting and analysis.

• Consolidate monthly all regional and head office actuals/budget to provide an accurate global view
• Assist with statutory reporting obligations as well as Group obligations now required by VF Corporation (US based)
• Provide assistance and support where needed to all regional finance teams.

• Responsible for controlling, reporting on and analyzing the Chief Operating Officer's expense base
• Reporting and commercial monthly analysis for key contacts within the COO business
• Management of the rolling forecast process and executive commentary to the CFO
• Complete ownership of the month-end process and liaising with Operational Finance
• Control of the cost base, through understanding and challenging cost centre managers.

• Provided a full front to back finance service for private equity entities
• Analysis and deliverables to various teams within the Bank
• Monthly preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements under IFRS.
