Sotheavy Oum

Timaru,New Zealand

Summary

My name is Sotheavy Oum (known as Da). I recently moved to New Zealand from Cambodia. I have a two year working visa, IRD account and international driving licence. In Cambodia, because of my degree qualifications, my primary work has been in libraries for two NGOs. My responsibilities included maintaining the order and appearance of the library, keeping the library clean and tidy, creating catalogues to record new books and journals, recording borrowed books, maintaining lists of library borrowers, assisting customers in using the library, maintaining a record of reports and books, liaison and communication with various government agencies, university students, and mentoring junior staff. In New Zealand I wish to experience different work opportunities to enable me to meet people, experience the culture and contribute positively to the community in which I live.
