- I am a qualified Registered Nurse with 13 years of clinical experience in Paediatric and Paediatric Intensive Care settings, and I am passionate about providing safe, family-centred, and evidence-based care to children with acute and complex health needs.
- Throughout my nursing career, I have worked in high-acuity paediatric environments, caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.
- My PICU experience includes: Continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring, Ventilator and airway management support, Infusion therapy and medication titration, Neurological, trauma, and sepsis management, Working within multidisciplinary critical care teams.
- I place strong importance on clinical safety, paediatric early warning systems, excellent documentation, escalation of deterioration, and family communication.
- I am confident in delivering compassionate care during stressful and emotionally sensitive situations, supporting both patients and families through their treatment journey.
- I have experience collaborating closely with paediatricians, intensivists, allied health teams, and child-life specialists to ensure holistic care.
- I actively participate in ongoing professional development and maintain high standards of infection prevention, safeguarding, and patient advocacy.
