WORKFORCE ADVISOR

DOWNER NEW ZEALAND
07.2022 - 06.2023
  • As part of my role, I currently support the Infrastructure Delivery division with managing the present and future resourcing needs for our Infrastructure Projects (Self Perform, Joint Ventures and Alliances) across the North Island, South Island and Pacific
  • I also support the business track over 650 staff members across our Infrastructure projects, assisting with contract management for secondments and extensions, and communicating external requirements to the recruitment team.
  • I facilitate fortnightly and monthly resource meetings with our project teams, where we discuss plans and strategies for resourcing requirements, where the information is collated and presented to the Senior Leadership team on a monthly basis.
  • I support the demobilisation of resource from the Link Alliance (CRL) project. This entails forecasting and reporting on when people will offboard from the project, connecting them in with lead contacts for future opportunities, and completing all the appropriate paperwork to support their movement into a new role.
  • As part of the monthly National Resource meeting held with the Senior Leadership team, I provide an information pack which covers an oversight of what resourcing issues are being experienced across our projects, along with what our projects critical resource needs are, what resource is becoming available over the next three months, what strategies are being implemented to support this and what our activity is in the market.
  • With the implementation of HR Core into the business I was established as a SME for the Infrastructure Delivery team and would assist and train operational leaders with systems and processes that have been included as part of the HR Core role out.
