Job Title: Arms Supervisor
I am currently in the process of transitioning into my next career as I bring to a close my time working in the Mining field. In the past 15 years I've had the privilege of working throughout both New Zealand and Australia in several different roles and environments.
With a combination of my technical abilities and my personable, professional manner, I believe I possess the skills, qualifications and vital experience necessary to make a very significant contribution to the Nz Police.
I feel very competent and capable with undertaking this new position. My key qualities are my willingness and desire to learn new skills and to take on new challenges. I have a professional and confident approach with excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate concisely at all levels.
I've been a firearms holder since I was 16 years of age, and am an active member of the NZDA. Myself along with my partner and daughter are keen hunters and target shooters and believe I would play a vital role in how firearms are managed and licensed in our country.
A dedicated and diligent individual with experience and an array of transferable skills gained undertaking roles as an Open Cut driller, Surveyor and step up Supervisor. Quick to grasp new ideas and concepts whilst identifying key improvements to working practices and procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability without compromising quality of service. Utilizes exceptional interpersonal skills and communicative abilities to build positive and Lasting relationships with fellow workmates and supervisors. An efficient, practical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Naturally self-motivated with lots of energy and enthusiasm, works well on own initiative and also as part of a team.
