A Brief Summary of Work History

My working life began on a dairy farm not far from Pokeno

After finishing High School began a carpentry apprenticeship in 1971 and completed in 1975 gaining my Trade Certification.

Continued working in the building industry mainly in Auckland

as well as 4-5 years in the north LosAngeles Area from 1978-1982.

Have worked on many construction sites, mostly houses and also commercial sites as well.

The first 30 odd years from 1972 when I started my apprenticeship until 2002, worked as a labor- only carpenter for Building Contractors as well as doing smaller builds myself

At age 49 in 2002 bought into a HireAHubby business in Remuera.

This transition provided much work in Repairs - Maintenance

on and in Houses, Shops and Offices, as well as yard work, fence and gate repairs, tidy ups.

Was in that business until 2023.

Am still doing same kind of work but with less stress.

Would like to continue working.

I am still fit and like a challenge.

Was looking at other options but feel this work would fit well.
