I have built long-term relationships through understanding and developing trust. This comes through communication, coaching and leadership skills I have developed over many years. Operations Co Ordinator

  • My role as an Operations Co Ordinator is to run Competitions at set venues across Auckland
  • The role of Competitions manager is a 'one stop shop' which covers league set ups, grading, disciplinary evaluations, and application of sanctions where needed, handling complaints and requests
  • As the Operations Co Ordinator, I also manage the Venue Manager team which encompasses recruitment, training, evaluations, setting their roster and managing their performance
  • Achievements: Recruiting and developing a new team of 12 Venue Managers for sites in Auckland
  • Review of existing policies and procedures and updating them to meet competition requirements
  • Code of Conduct policies review and update
  • League structures and game allocation procedure process
  • Review and introduce new rostering processes for referees at our tournaments

Federation Development Officer – Area Manager

  • My role began as a Federation Development Officer for Auckland Football Federation
  • With the merger of two Federations of Auckland Football Federation and Northern Football Federation my role became an Area Manager for Northern Region Football
  • As an Area Manager we Build and develop and enhance Federation - Club relationships
  • The goal is to improve the all-round Football experience of the Club Members and leaders
  • This is done by building quality long-term relationships and understanding the barriers that the clubs face and utilizing tools to remove those barriers
  • The Area Manager is the primary link point for Football Clubs to NRF and New Zealand Football by facilitating courses and bringing third parties to the table to assist ego: Auckland Council, Regional Sports Trusts
  • Achievements: Leading Good Sports portfolio for the Federation across Auckland Football Clubs
  • Internal secondment for a year to lead and develop Auckland Football Referees
  • Built stronger communication streams across the club network with multi levels of club roles
  • Aligned the Waitakere Area clubs from a specialist to a generalist support model
  • Run Multiple presentations to Players, Coaches, managers, Chairs on a raft of programs from Strategic to operational items
  • Developed Council relationship to give greater access to ground allocations by membership numbers

Regional Development Manager

  • My key responsibilities as a Regional Development Manager are to develop the Scouting movement in the Upper North Island region to actively benefit youth within the region by working internally with youth and adult leaders and externally with schools and corporate institutions
  • This role is pivotal in delivering Scouting within the Upper North Island region (which is between Pokeno and Kaitaia)
  • This role requires strong people skills as managed the regional office and team in Auckland, dealt with management within a wide variety of organizations and adults and youth within Scouting
  • Achievements: Ran events through the movement and facilitated engagement with paid staff as well as volunteer base
  • New groups started throughout the region
  • Developed processes and communication steams for the leader teams across the region
  • Started a new group with 'Scouting in Schools.'
  • Positively restructured camps within the region

  • Achievements: I have developed a new pipeline of new corporate clients within the Waitakere region, growing my portfolio by 38%
  • I have been passed on to clients that have had issues with others within our business and have been able to retain them and enhance the relationship with Spark
  • I achieved 85% of my sales targets throughout my time within the Hub
  • I also achieved the highest customer retention percentage within my Hub of 92%
  • I had been selected from within my Hub to become a Samsung Master
  • I took on a Mentor role within my Hub assisting new members joining our team
