This role involves -

• Being responsible for, and ensuring the safety of crew and vessels
• Clearing shipping channels in conjunction with Tauranga Port
• Enforcing 2017 navigational safety bylaws
• Promoting water safety
• Working within Council and Maritime regulations
• Monitoring and advising on issues such as oil spills, debris and rubbish in our Harbour and waterways.

This role involved.

• Working alongside a team of engineers and contractors completing the installation and maintenance of automated systems in multiple packhouses.
• Major projects included MPAC, Mends Lane and DMS.
• Practical, mechanical engineering experience and problem solving.
• Completing tasks in a safe and timely manner.

Contract Boatbuilding predominantly at Sulphur Point marina, involved with all aspects of repairs and maintenance on a variety of vessels,
