At Timaru Girls' High School, I led the Arts' Department, fostering an inclusive environment and prioritizing student success. My approach combined organizational skills with a focus on interactive, engaging lessons, significantly enhancing student engagement and achievement.
During my years at Timaru Girls' High, I taught a Level 2 NCEA English class one year and a Social Studies Class.
I have also been a Dean at both Junior and Senior Level on many occasions; in this role, you follow the Year 9 Cohort through to Year 13.
My work in Drama has encompassed plays of Aotearoa, Script-writing, Shakespeare, Brecht and much more. Students have been guided on writing NCEA Examination responses, reviews of live performances and specific written evidence to support their internal assessments.
