Taine Grimsey

A driven educator with 4 years experience at two of New Zealand's largest secondary schools, excelling in classroom management and motivating students to achieve their personal excellence. Alongside my time at Mount Albert Grammar School as a teacher have assisted in playing a role in creating a safe environment at the school hostel for young men to work towards their future. Over the past 2 years have worked to implement the new NCEA Level 1 Geography curriculum in a collaborative environment. Adept at fostering positive parent-teacher communication and mentoring students, enhancing both academic and extracurricular success. Strong professional student/teacher relationships are the core of the "why" I teach.
