A bartender and waitress for a fun family run Mexican resturant. My job included serving customers food and drink, running and managing the bar and making sure that front of house ran smoothly with each shift. I thoroughly enjoyed this job and was very sad to see the Mexican resturant shut down due to financial difficulties. My other duties included managing cash handling duties responsibly, closing down till at the end of each shift. Performing opening and closing duties, printing sales reports, setting up for incoming shift, preparing cash drawers, and taking stock as well as standard cleaning procedures.

While studying for my national certificate in animal care I worked at a doggy daycare part time until my studies finished and going on into full time work. Looking after up to 50 dogs a day. Our days included playing, cleaning up poop, taking them on walks, cuddling and training them (which in hindsight was great preparation for motherhood!). A truly fun job which I loved. I left in 2017 due to having my first baby, a boy named Xavier.
