I am a organized and dependable individual, who can stay calm with a positive outlook. Willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities to work together as a team player.
I helped plumb with my dad for some jobs in Porirua where I volunteered and learnt hard work. I used concentration, to utilise my hands and brain to fix the work at hand. Some jobs I helped with were removing hot water cylinders which we did, once we took a planning and strength approach. It was heavy and big and we put a new one in, which I remember being quite difficult. There were also other jobs where we had to dig and use wheel barrows in order to fix pipes and replace them. My job was to follow the instructions I was given, this was to assist my dad to lift things or cut and measure pipes. One thing I learnt is concentration, listening and hard physical work is very important.
You have to be focused, committed and have the skills to learn and memorise lines to perform. You use hand gestures, facial expressions to be able to successfully express your emotions through the character. You have to listen to the director or adjust accordingly to get the scene the way the director envisions it. Acting forces you to focus to stay in character, to allow you to display a good performance.
