Summary

As owner operator at Woodbury Kennels we have established and developed a successful business accommodating up to 60 dogs during NZ peak festive season. Skilled in building partnerships and enhancing animal welfare, I excel in communication and team management, ensuring exceptional service and safety for all boarding guests.

My most enjoyable employment period was during my regular employment at the North Western Vet clinic (08/2009 to 10/2018) with Dr Patrick Casey, and later with Dr Kieren Finn (Currently Veterinary officer at HKJC) After 2010, Dr Casey permanently based himself in Kentucky, USA and periodically returns home 2 or 3 times per year. During his returns we continue to treat and manage a very small case load of loyal clients whose animals continue to require non urgent care. While with Dr Casey I have been very privileged to attend some of NZ's most prominent TB Racing studs.

Horses have been part of my life for 40 years. I have been through the NZ PC system and prior to kids competed in eventing and dressage. We continue to be involve with horses and have been fortunate enough to have successfully bred and raced some great Group 1 and 2 pacers over the last 20 years.
