I’ve grown up locally in northcote point whilst currently attending carmel college in milford. I am involved in various sporting teams such as basketball, netball and hockey whilst also coaching a younger netball team. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends aswell as being organised and managing my school work efficiently. I can confidently say that I am a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated person aswell as being a good team player which can be applying in the work force. my peers would say that I am a very friendly and welcoming person who enjoys the company of others but can be independent when needs be.
As a volunteer, you care for animals, interact with visitors, assist with farm maintenance, and support educational programs. Provide tours, answer questions, and share farm information. Clean enclosures and help with general upkeep. Help with activities for school groups and visitors.
For the past 6 years i’ve successfully completed over 20 hours of community service which I have found extremely beneficial for myself and my community as I feel I am doing my part and found a way to give back to those who are in need. I attended the aims sporting competition in 2019 aswell as attending the basketball junior and senior college Auckland championships for the past four years. In recent years I have been a tuakana leader which is a vital role in my school community as the role includes welcoming the new students to the school and making them feel welcome. I am also a current member of my schools sports council and have been in previous years. This role includes taking leadership and has taught be great organization skills which i am able to use in different aspects of life. I have passed level 1 NCEA and am currently halfway through my level 2 NCEA and will be continuing next year.
