Here I work casually 3 nights a week, my duties include:

• ensuring all dishes are clean and put away
• cleaning all kitchen surfaces, also sweep and mop floors
• ensure all desks were organised, and bins cleaned with fresh rubbish bags
• deeply vacuuming and mopping all floors
• cleaning toilets and bathrooms to a professional level
• re-stocking all necessary items (e.t hand towels, soap, sanitizer ect)

During my time at Mirrou I learnt a range of new skills as my position here required higher urgency in the tasks I was assigned, I was in charge of opening the store with my manager, setting up the till and computer for use, I was in charge of unloading and the organisation of all new stock, putting back clothes after customers have tried on an item, sweeping and mopping of all floors and changing rooms, and keeping the store presentable to a high standard. Operating tills for customer purchases, also handling or refunds/exchanges. I had a bit more responsibility here during my position with Mirrou which I was extremely grateful for as I gained confidence within the Retail Industry and learnt new skills that I can take with me into future employment.

Here I worked as a Christmas Casual Sales Assistant throughout the stores busiest time of year, over the holiday period my duties included stocking shelves and organising all clothing racks precisely to be kept to a high level of cleanliness. We worked in sections of the store to ensure all customers were being taken care of, heard, and always had someone available when they required assistance. Our daily KPI targets were our main focus throughout our Christmas rush and we used many sale techniques to upsell our products to potential buyers.
