I am a seasoned and resourceful educator with two decades of experience in early childhood education. Possessing a recognized qualification in the field, I am dedicated to nurturing the comprehensive development and growth of young children. Demonstrating the ability to take initiative and proactively address the needs of children, I boast an exemplary track record and extensive proficiency in the following domains: Curriculum Design, Teaching and Classroom Management, Child Development Progress Assessment, First Aid, Child and Infant CPR, Modern Montessori, Fundraising, HIV/AIDS Care and Counseling, Computer Proficiency, and a Bachelor's Degree in Foundation Phase.

My primary passion lies in imparting knowledge to young learners, complemented by my extensive experience in shaping their character. I bring outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to the table, aiming to support children in realizing their holistic potential. Over the course of my teaching career, I have worked with a diverse range of children, valuing the importance of treating each child equally, regardless of their background or religion.

In adapting to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I have utilized various communication channels such as WhatsApp Groups, Email, Zoom for virtual meetings, one-on-one sessions, and Storypark. My proficiency in communication extends to fostering positive relationships with both families and colleagues. Having recently relocated to New Zealand and experienced the stress associated with immigration, I am empathetic to the challenges faced by families in adjusting to a new country. I am particularly attuned to the needs of immigrant families and believe that I can provide valuable love, guidance, and support to them within my classroom setting.

My tenure in early childhood education has underscored the importance of building strong connections with both the children and their families. This philosophy will remain a guiding principle throughout my teaching career. I possess an in-depth understanding of Te Whāriki and am currently engaged in the Incredible Years program. Prioritizing continuous personal development, I actively seek opportunities for learning through courses, integrating newfound knowledge into my classroom practices and sharing experiences with those around me.

Recognizing the uniqueness of each child, I am committed to facilitating their development at their own pace, free from undue pressure. I perceive myself as a dynamic and collaborative educator, ever-ready to embrace new challenges in the pursuit of fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.

Engaging in a diverse array of hobbies brings immense joy and fulfillment to my life. Photography stands as one of my cherished pursuits, capturing moments that translate into lasting memories. I find solace in immortalizing precious experiences, allowing them to endure through the lens. Additionally, the art of baking serves as a delightful creative outlet, merging flavors and textures to produce scrumptious treats. Spending leisurely afternoons on the beach is another favored pastime, where the soothing sound of waves and the warmth of the sun create a perfect setting for relaxation. Bike and scooter rides provide a sense of freedom and exploration, allowing me to connect with the outdoors. Above all, nothing compares to the joy of spending quality time with my family and friends, creating enduring bonds and cherished memories that I hold close to my heart. These hobbies collectively contribute to a well-rounded and enriching lifestyle, fostering both personal growth and a profound appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
