Accomplishments

Our Drama Department, in April this year, celebrated students attaining a 1st place position in the New Zealand National Shakespeare Performance regional competition which leads onto an opportunity to attend an international Shakespeare experience at the Globe Theatre, England, in 2024.

I encouraged and supported 10 senior students to attend the New Zealand National Youth Drama School (A one week Professional Development) in April 2023.

We have students involved in the elite Hawkes Bay Opera company, Prima Volta, who will be touring Europe in 2024.

Over the past decade I have presented student choirs in regional and national competitions, achieving commendable results.

In this same time frame I have either musically or dramatically Directed annual School Productions, while working with an amazing team each time.

Over 25 years I have presented individual music students in the Trinity and Royal School of Music Examination systems and gained Distinction results.
