• My Responsibility as an intern with Wakatū Incorporation is to gain experience in and insight into the different business units of the organisation
• I worked with the whakapapa team, transcribing minute books and using the whakapapa database
• I worked in the whenua ora team where i was working in the mara kai growing varieties of indigenous crops
• I was involved with projects such as naming taonga species in te tau ihu and the research and collection of genetics of kawakawa around aotearoa and had the chance to work in an mussel hatchery at cawthron aquaculture.

I done a 2 week work placement for Spat NZ in the oyster hatchery.

• I worked as a food and beverage casual worker
• Through this job I gained a certificate in barista and customer service
• My responsibilities were; to welcome and serve customers, to prepare coffee and food to a high standard and to keep the café clean and well presented
