As an excavator operator i helped with earthworks,drainage,services laying, roadworks,retaing walls,effluent & storage ponds,raceways,footpath,driveways,concrete placing,boxing and reinforcing.

This company was a small so my role changes from job to job from being in a digger,roller or truck to being on a rack,spade or plate compactor

My role was a laborer/groundsman for an excavator operator

Task involved

• Completed variety of physical labor tasks.
• Performed regular checks of equipment for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Used picks and shovels to dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
• Spotter. Making sure my operator is aware of any potential hazard around him and underground

Supervisor, tie hand

• Secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms using clamps and bolts.
• Erect formwork for reinforced concrete structures such as foundations, walls and columns.
• Cut steel pieces to specified dimensions using oxy-acetylene torches or powered saws.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components such as columns, beams, girders, trusses, stairs, lintels, metal decking and reinforcing bars.
• Prepared wire mesh rebar arrangements by welding, wiring, or clipping pieces together.
