I Started working when I was 14 at a local grocery store, I worked there over the summer break and then found work at the Kingfisher Bar and Restaurant where I started as a kitchen hand washing dishes. I slowly worked my way up from the kitchen hand role to a kitchen supervisor and manager/cook that was my main title. however I also did a lot of time working in the bar pouring drinks and making cocktails and spent some time waiting tables in the restaurant. during the summers I would work 40-60 hour weeks as a 16,17 and 18 year old and during school i would work anywhere from 15 to 35 hours a week. I had to learn how to balance my time to my studys and all my sports and leadership commitments. this taught me great time management and hard work. . During my time at school I was extremely passionate about my rugby I played for the senior-mens division 1 team on the West-coast and I am moving over to Christchurch to peruse that as a career path. I am looking for work as a builder while I peruse this and plan to work for 3-4 years at a building firm. I think I can bring a great skillset to the worksite and assist a company/firm in achieving their targets and projections in the following years.
