Additional Information

I hv 27yrs experience in building

I left school at 16yro 1983 to work on rubbish trucks

At 17 nearly 18yro I went to work for the new Zealand seafarers union on container ship's for 10yrs (was sea sick for 10yrs)

After having my 2nd son I decided to leave n take a chance on land and I'm glad I did because I found a job I truly love (I was a boy who liked to pull things apart to see how they worked/ a titoo maori)

My farther inlaw took me on and showed me tricks n traits only the old fellas know (old school) so I know I was very lucky to be taught by a skilled old timer who took the time to teach me (yeah he was hard but he was also good)

In 3yrs I was out doing my own projects then eventually I became self employed n was out on my own

Started my own company (Thomas dufty Builder) Employed 10 staff

Contracted to a developer (Steve Kelly)

To build a 3 storied house in New Market Auckland and a set of Appartments in Ponsonby Auckland that lasted a year an then realized I was dealing with a very dodgy corrupt developer so got in time so we weren't affected

From there we built Burger fuels head office

66 surrey cres Grey Lynn Auckland 4 levels

Joseph owner 09 3766007

Level 2 I designed and built

Levels 1 and ground Burger fuels office space

Basement Ferrari mechanics work shop

And designer feature around stairwell which created a shiplike effect

From there I let the boys go (ran out work n some were not performing) and ended up learning suspended ceilings n tiling through mates company's as I wanted to hv those skills as well

I work for a beautiful little company called

Cranberries properties for David Jellie n John Jellie mb 021740754

We were doing property maintenance for real-estate companies and then morphed into designer bathrooms n kitchens (loved it )

I'm now in wellington as I hv a son with my 5 grand daughters struggling so I hv come to help my son n grand daughters I hv done the odd fence -deck-handrails pergolas n repairs

I'm 56yro but plan on working until I'm 80 if you'd let me

Looking for to your reply thanks
