  • Through my job at Pak'n'Save it involved continual heavy lifting and extended hours on my feet which I was easily able to do It also involved stock taking and attending to customer’s needs, such as filling special orders While working as a tennis coach I had to teach children in groups who aged from 4-16, so I broke instructions down into an easy format for all age groups to understand Communication and impromptu games and instructions were required while teaching tennis which I was able to do Discipline, patience, politeness, and being helpful were required in both my tennis coaching job and working on the fishing charter boat as a deckhand as I was working for the customers constantly, involving constant communication While working on the boat a lot of the skills were new to me so I had to learn on the spot which involved myself having to think quickly and take appropriate action Through these jobs my physical fitness and strength, quick thinking, initiative, politeness and being helpful were displayed and appreciated by those I worked for Working as a barman at the Speight's Ale House I learnt how to pour beers correctly, take several orders at once, work in a timely fashion and serve customers At Air New Zealand I had to work under constant time pressures and making sure flights arrived on time and the correct bags were on the correct flights While building which I am currently in I have to think ahead and be physically fit enough to carry out the roles required I have become proficient at using the majority of power tools

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy most sports and have played competitive tennis for years, competing at the regional, national, and international level. I also enjoy fishing new areas of the lower north island. My friends are great company and who I enjoy hanging out with. I have travelled overseas for tennis and have been to England and Italy for a family holiday. In the not too near future I would like to go travelling for my overseas experience.
