I have developed a range of skills across a varied career and am now focused on working to my values as well as my strengths. You will find me to be cheerful, respectful and a motivated learner and leader.
My most recent position has been as a Kaitakawaenga for Maori Health Services, my role had varied in tasks which i thouroughly enjoyed. This role was a dual role, managing Administration for Whare Mihiroa and supporting/advocating for patients, whanau and staff on the wards through out the hospital. We also were a part of the cultural growth and supported patients and staff alike in those areas of the hospital too.
And many other tasks. My main role was to support in any way i could with our whanau throughout the Public Health System.
Cadet position working under a mentor and trainers in medical administration in the Occupational Health and Safety Department. Tasks include using the hospital and national health computer systems including Medtech, ECA and Leader Production in data entry and updating/maintaining patient records. Delivering key tasks within expected privacy and accuracy targets, reception functions including delivering RAT packs and staff induction packs, entering health profiles for staff and general office administration functions.
A dual role requiring a range of skills. Core role centred around confectionary production and panning including overseeing/ rotating stock, staff management including rostering and addressing shortfalls, liaising and growing business with customers including large supermarket chains, preparing, and analysing reports as well as being present in the production areas when necessary. Role was ended due to the pandemic of covid 19.
A fixed term contract role working with in-bound freight. After being trained in the transport and storage of dangerous goods, this role included using a PDA scanner to manifest and audit incoming freight from multiple sources, including priority freight in high volumes. Using ICS Logistics Software, the position involved coordinating with a large team in pursuing the fast turnaround and deadlines expected.
Responsible for multiple functions within the processing and distribution areas including preparing vegetables, using commercial kitchen equipment including slicers and mixers through to portioning machinery, mixing ingredients on ‘ruhle tumblers’, and following through with written records. At times the role included lifting weights up to 20 kgs moving ingredients around the kitchen and carried overall responsibility of cleaning the kitchen and equipment. A fast-paced role where skills in organisation, planning and commercial food production were strengthened.
