Wool Handler

  • Regulates the flow of sheep to be shorn.
  • Keeps the wool shed clean and tidy.
  • assists with wool clip preparation
  • Ensure wool is clean from contamination.
  • Operate and maintain sampling, wool weighing and wool blending machinery.
  • Supervise pressing and branding of wool bales.

Small Goods Department

  • Started my first 2 months in the smallgoods department or "sausage room" before i was asked to join Line 4 in the Bacon Finishing room.
  • Sorted and Packed sausages ( raw and cooked)
  • hand labeled
  • manually weighing items to be packed (by kilo and grams )
  • Boxer and last person to see the finished product before dispatched out .

Bacon Finishing Department

  • My last 9 months i was in the bacon finishing department on Line 4. Our line packed 800g and 2kg middle bacon , aswell as releaving the other 3 lines so flexablilty is not a problem.
  • Sorted , weighed , labelled and packed bacon.
  • Contributed to a positive work environment by maintaining clear communication channels and promoting teamwork among colleagues.
